The market has shifted toward specialization: dedicated models for heavy sleepers with 15-gauge zoned coils and reinforced bases, cooling-focused hybrids with phase-change covers over breathable coil layers, and softer pressure-relief hybrids for side sleepers. Matching the model to your body and position matters more than the brand name on the box.
